Hi All,

I just found this site, it looks like a good one for finding suggestions for books and authors.

I'm always looking for new authors to try.

I like detective novels and murder mysteries. I like the ones that focus on solving the mystery rather than the ones with all the gore.

I also like period novels from the turn of the last century (early 1900's) that are set in New York.

And also for some variety, I like silly, trashy vampire novels.

Some authors I enjoy are:
James Ellroy
Caleb Carr
Carole Nelson Douglas
John Sandford
