English, chav style if I want to wind the mother in law up!
Spanish, a little french & German, currently learning Irish from my mum I just feel it's important now.

Now I've heard about this chav - give us an example. I'm told it comes with wearing bling and checked caps. :D

I speak English, Bengali and now rapidly becoming more conversant/fluent with German, as I live here now......
At one time I'd also learned Latin, French and Italian...but have forggotten those mainly

I'm bilingual.. my mother tongue is Arabic.. And english is my second language.

I'm thinking of learning latin. I dunno, it's just seems it's going to help me in my study [medicine]. since most of medical terms are latin in origin.

and i am learning Arabic right now.

Finnish (suomenkieli) - my every day speaking and thinking language.
English (englanninkieli) - my internet language, rarely spoken.
and very basic Swedish (ruotsinkieli / Svenska) - read and listen to this better than speak or write. Very rarely used.

Besides English I speak Spanish and I can communicate (basics) in ASL- American Sign Langage. That's the language of the Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing.

What language(s) other than English do you speak?

English
Spanish (Espanol)
ASL (American Sign Language- the language of the Deaf)

Looks like you've come full circle on your stock questions. Threads merged.

I speak English (American) as my first language and I've been learning Spanish in high school for 4 years, so I guess I'm pretty fluent in it.

I tried learning German a few months ago, but didn't stick with it. I plan on learning some other languages like German, and French.

I speak English only but would like to learn German so that I can understand German porn DVDs and websites and sing along to Kraftwerk records.

I'm fluent in English, my first language. I am also fluent (read, write, speak) in Spanish, my second language. I use both languages ... as needed.

I took three years of French in school. I can recognize it when I hear it and understand most of it. I can also still read it pretty well. But since I don't really encounter it much ... except when I travel to Canada and everything is in English and French ... I don't claim to really know the language. I still know most of the important phrases like "Excuse me, do you speak English?"

Oh, and of course fluent in Elfish.

I'm fluent in English and French. I have a very basic understanding of Spanish, and I'm struggling to learn Chinese at the moment.
