in dire need of help

I enjoy reading sci-fi and other genres but fantasy is somewhat unknown to me. I would like to know if there are any books with story lines to what of Pan's Labyrinth. A fantasy novel that twists your mind with psychological drama is what i seek

Since Pan's Labyrinth was mostly set in the real world rather than a fantasy world, I'm guessing you'd like a parallel there too? Anyway, not being a fantasy fan all that much, all I can think of to suggest is Little Big by John Crowley.

Thanks for the help, i shall try the 2 books. Now i remember a book not long ago that had a very adult fairytale-esqe feel to it but i cant remember the title. Does anyone else remember this book?
