James Agee: A Death In The Family

I just finished reading this incredible novel and thought I'd post to see if anyone else had read it and loved it as much as I did.

I don't know that I've felt so impressed by a book like this since I read To Kill a Mockingbird. It was so amazingly well written and emotional, I'll never see death quite in the same way again. I even had repeated dreams about events in the story happening to me and my family! It's also very interesting that the author died before it was published.

I'm surprised Stewart hasn't read (or bought) this one yet, as it's a shiny new Penguin Modern Classic...
