Jeff Lindsay: Dexter in the Dark

The third book in Lindsay's Dexter series.

I read this last summer. It was... interesting. And very different from the first two. I'd like to know what others thought of the
supernatural
elements and the kids'
own shadows
.
7.9/10 for me. :p

I hated it. It was pretty scary,I'll admit that much)(scarier than the first two). I've read the whole series, and I'm currently waiting for Dexter is Delicious coming out in September. The third book makes Dex look like a wimp;he's not nearly as funny as he was in the first two books.

I also hated it,I can't stand when a killer goes into that state of mind, and doesn't want to kill, also starts getting emotions which overpowered his needs. The book was like a chore when I was reading it.

Good thing Dexter by Design redeemed the series enough to keep me reading.

I liked it a lot. I liked knowing where Dexter's shadow came from, even if it was a little too much
supernatural
for my taste. But I liked how the characters evolved, especially Dexter and the kids.
