For the first third of the book,i though it was a joke,a piss taking about conspiraty theorie,but no,it seem to but quite true(if a bit pulled by the air at times).
The all story is about a special unit of Psychic warrior,the first earth battalion and Jedi warriors created after the trauma of vietnam war as an hippy alternative to takle conflict.
The original idea of befriending local in a hostil place by soft music and carrying lamb in their arm soon take a more agressive turn with black ops trying to kill goats by staring at them and willing their hart to burst.The music is then use to drive Iraqi soldier mad with the love Barney the dinosaur song.
What is very interesting is the fact that the post vietnam army was in such a shock,and self douting that they were reading to envisage new mad idea.Thinking out of the box.Plus the hippy sort of won the conflict so they tried the enemy weapon.
The book is really funny at time and a bit more nuance about CIA and FBI powers than the usual.
