Anyone read any of her books ?How were they like ?
She was listed in the same genre as Umberto Eco and others of the same genre.

I've not read her books but The Eight is supposedly very good.

The Eight is an incredible read! I've read it maybe a half dozen times by now. It offers an intelligent blend of historical fiction with a great modern adventure/thriller story centered around the ancient game of chess. Absolutely fantastic.

I also like A Calculated Risk quite a bit and it is different from her first novel, but still a good read.
