Name That Tune

Here we go then:

blueboatdriver, I think we need a strong hint. Excuse my asking but this isn't a regional song is it. :)

Sorry I didn't respond until now muggle, I must have missed your post. No I wouldn't say it was regional. Not in the UK anyway.

Occlith: Yea, spot on, brilliant band. Your turn.

more lyrics--

no trophy, no flowers, no flashbulbs, no wine
he's haunted by something he cannot define
bowel-shaking earthquakes of doubt and remorse
assail him, impale him with monster-truck force

in his mind, he's still driving, still making the grade
she's hoping in time that her memories will fade
cause he's racing and pacing and plotting the course
he's fighting and biting and riding on his horse

the sun has gone down and the moon has come up
and long ago somebody left with the cup
but he's striving and driving and hugging the turns
and thinking of someone for whom he still burns

Good morning Morning, Hello Sunshine
Wake up Sleepyhead
Why'd we move that Beau-jangle clock so far away from the bed?
Just one more minute, that's why we moved it
One more hug or two
Do you love waking up next to me
As much as I love waking up next to you?

The Happiest Girl in the Whole U.S.A ?

Ok. Here are some lyrics:

It may sound absurd
But don’t be naive
Even heroes have the right to bleed
I may be disturbed
But won’t you concede
Even heroes have the right to dream
It’s not easy to be me

Up, up and away
Away from me
It’s all right
You can all sleep sound tonight
I’m not crazy
Or anything
