Something someone said brought this one to mind.

IW
_______________

Scared little girl,
Motherless child.

Red-rimmed eyes
And tear-stained cheeks,
Hiding in the reflection
Of a grown woman.

Across the years,
Their eyes meet.

And each asks
Woman/child
In an echovoice only the
Other can hear…

"Why was my love not enough?"

risin' sun goin' down
I believe to my soul now,
poor bobby is sinkin' down,
you can run,
you can run.

Don't, don't be busy sinking or running. just sit and have a look at the blue ocean, the flying clouds, ... and sun rising on the sea:D

Always say the first thing that comes to your lips, it's the truest and from your heart. If you edit yourself, you fade a little :)
