Printing a Thread

There are times I'd like to print out a thread so I can show it to someone who may not be a forum member - my wife, for example. I don't want all the avitars and all the side menus and banners, etc, so the normal way to print a Web page is no good. Way I do it now, I have to copy and paste each post, with the poster's name, from the thread to WORD or some text editor. If I try to just select down the page, I wind up captureing all those non-text objects I don't want.

Is there a way to view a thread, in a text only mode, that can be copied and pasted, or just sent to a printer?
If not, I suggest that there should be.

At the top of each thread there is the Thread Tools menu and in the drop down there is the Show Printable Version option. Select this and you will get a page like this.
