recently registered

[Heidi]

I have just finished reading 'The Prodigy' by Herman Hesse. I was blown away by this book and would love to hear other readers' thoughts (particuarly younger readers as the central character, Hans, is in his teens).

My thoughts briefly....

This is another Hesse novel that is so profoundly honest yet so poetic and descriptive in its language. When I finished I contined to sit where I was nursing the novel, my thoughts with Hans. This is a book I will be thinking about in years to come.
