Hello everyone,
I am new to this forum. I don't have the habbit of reading books. But I want to make it my hobby. I like reading any topics related to philosophy that can give an idea about life, obstacles etc..Could any one let me know few of inspirational books, books that deal with people sacrificing something to achieve big in life?

Thanks,
Bobby.

Are you looking for philosophy or self help? For beginners in philosophy, start with Plato or John Stuart Mill or William James. For self help, I'll let somebody else recommend.

Philosophy will probably not help you with life's obstacles except by giving you more ways to think about them. Some people like that, many people do not.

Henry David Thoreau, Walden or Life in the Woods
H. D. Thoreau, Civil Disobedience
Ralph Waldo Emerson, Essays
R. W. Emerson, Nature
