I finished The Phantom of the Temple and quite enjoyed it.I had read Before the Haunted monastery and always felt like more the delightfull 18th century China of those book.
It chance to have a polygamiste investigator with a strong tea habit, who spend his time shoving stuff in his sleeves. For the rest,it's classic detective story with the suspect reunion at the end, very like dear Agatha.
It's a pleasant read a nice break betwin heavier stuff.
Any of you familiar with the judge?
