The Rule Of Four

Has anyone yet read 'The Rule Of Four' by Ian Caldwell, Dustin Thomason?
How was it ?

It was shite. Binned it after 200 pages. No emotion, not much of a story, and some appalling choices for our cardboard cutouts to make. A lot seem to think of it as being like The Da Vinci Code (that's what it's being marketed as) when it isn't which is leaving a lot of people disappointed. It's a coming of age story and a poor one at that.

I agree with Stewart. Crap book. The whole story is on the Princeton campus; not once do the characters go on a wild chase like in the The Da Vinci Code, if that's what you were looking for.

I read it and actually I thought it was ok. *ducks*

I mean it wasn't incredible writing, but I am usually entertained by arcane thrillers (like Da Vinci Code) and the mystery kept me interested and reading until the end.

My advice is to rent it, don't buy it. And that's only if you thought Da Vinci was at least ok.
