Has anyone read The Russian Debutante's Handbook by Gary Shteyngart? I just don't really know how to explain the title? I know there is this one occasion on which they talk about a Russian debutante, but I still don't quite get it ... can anyone explain the title to me? THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!! Smiles to all ...​

Anyway, isn't this book about a Russian immigrant, 'debuting' in a foreign society - wouldn't that make him a Russian Debutant? And wouldn't that make this book (about his 'adventures') a Russian Debutant's Handbook?
