I've just started reading the SHERLOCK HOLMES Stories, by ARTHUR CONAN DOYLE, again!

There's a lot of good reading there! I get the urge every so often to dip into Holmes again after having read them (all) as a teen ager, but then I look at the stack of new books in front of me that I want to read, and I plow on forward, ever forward. I see you are reading Shirley by Bronté. By all means let us all hear your reaction when you are finished (or even if you don't finish). That's a new title to me.

Thanks so much for your reply; Yes, this will be my third attempt at reading SHIRLEY by CHARLOTTE BRONTE!! I'm finding it a little bit slow and tedious at the moment!
