Another by Bryan (a character of mine :))


The Shower

The shower fires tiny silvery darts
on a trio of men, standing tall, erect.
Surrounding the girl, embracing her
with deep voices and laughter.

The trio, making mischief in the spray.
Splashing the girl and watching
chestnut hair darken in the cascade.
Water spraying, playing in fun.

Lashes weighted with crystal droplets,
Clear beads popping, rolling on skin.
The trio of men flicking water and tongues.
Licking and lapping and kissing moist lips.

Bodies glistening, slipping, sliding.
Warm pulses of liquid, spurting in jets.
Love-bubbles forming, bursting, melting,
uniting the trio of men, plus one.

Great poem. You know what would be interesting? The poem from the woman's point of view, as we have no indication from her in this one.

i actually winced on reading it. it really moved me
i can say that it was a first class piece of writing

i think bryan needs some love and affection in his life

if he does then why doesnt he write poems about love , beauties of nature blah blah??

i thought , since he writes poems that hurt, he must have been hurt in life as well. otherwise what gives him the inspiration to write such poems , which i have to say , are a bit unnatural?

Oh piedro. Oh piedro! I suppose it's all down to the reader's interpretation, but as the 'owner' of the character (Bryan), I can assure you, The Shower is about love, happiness, adoration. (Granted, he got a gubbing in Crimson Tears). I suppose I have the benefit of knowing the whole (well, most) of the story. The men and the girl share love and respect for each other. It was not intended to be sleazy or unnatural. [Remember we're in fantasyland here, not reality; I believe, piedro, from your other postings, that you'll understand what I mean? ;) ]

I can't really say much more without giving away a chunk of his story, but just for you, I'll let you see another poem, from a few years on in Bryan's life.
