Josh and Sarah Lincoln have a new neighbor, Dale McCarthy, who's taken a liking to Sarah, unfortunately for her, Dale is a serial killer who has the power to bring the dead back to life. So he can rape and kill her every night and then bring her back to life, with her having no memory of what happened except for vague, dreamlike flashes of images.
Extreme graphic sexual horror in this one along with some discussion of gender and sexuality. White does a good job with the setting, on the outskirts of Vegas in suburbs full of row after row of foreclosed, empty houses. He keeps the narrative moving at top speed too, I read this one in 3 sittings. Recommended for those with strong stomachs. First published by Leisure in December 2009.
