Do you have a tattoo...

I think people who get tattoos fail to think long term. Have you seen what they look like when they are old and faded and you are old and wrinkly?

I don't have a tat but I appreciate the artistry that goes into a few of them. I like that big Mexican tat on the back of Anthony Kiedis. The problem with tats is that it's easy to go mental.

True you do have to have them touched up maybe every twenty years or so, the color does tend to fade over time. But by the time one is old and wrinkly, having old wrinkly tats is the least of your concerns;)

Eeugh no. There are a bunch of old wrinkly tattooed folks wandering around town and seriously YUCK!! They are a walking advertisement for why it is a seriously bad idea long term.

I have no tattoos. I don't care what other people do but in general I don't like them on women. There are exceptions. Some women it just seems to fit them. But most, I think, are more naturally beautiful without them.

I have 3 tattoos, I love them all <3

I have a black and grey rose on my wrist
'Alis Volat Propriis' on my back
A Lotus flower on the back of my neck :)

Tattoos are frowned upon by many, they say it ruins your chance for a job etc... people judge too quickly.
Tattoos don't effect the way you work so I don't understand myself why so many people get turned away for having them. The same goes for piercings those are frowned upon too. i remember in school we could only have 1 pair of STUD earrings.. no hoops or to have your ears pierced more than once. It's stupid, having these things do not effect your brain! If I was in school now they'd have a fit as I have my industrial done and my tragus lol.

I think it's silly and people should be able to do what they please, if people want art on them let them do it! It doesn't effect those who don't like it? They don't have to have to be tattooed or pierced.

I personally love tattoos and piercings, my boyfriend doesn't approve though.. lol but again it's my decision :

Tatoos can have deep meaning. I think they're stereotypically seen as a sign of rebellion or ardent statement making...so they get a bad rep.

I haven't seriously considered getting one but mostly because I generally don't like needles or pain and I'm too cheap to put the money investment into making a statement in art on my body.

Well it could be because the whole tattoo / piercing sub-culture is one that is associated with gangs, violence, bike gangs and criminals?

Maybe so.. It's a bit silly in my eyes but hey ho.

I'm not having more anyway I'm very happy with what I have :)
