Random Question..Keep posting

What else is there to talk about? Seriously, people feel the need to tweet or update everything they do but what are they doing? not much. So they eat and talk about what they're eating.

Had enough of winter yet?

Dumbest thing you've seen on the news today?

Toronto mayor, Rob Ford, was late for a speech because he was stuck in the elevator...
And Justin Bieber is a shitty driver.

I didn't watch the news today :)

Don't you find the news thoroughly depressing?

Yes,most of the time, but I prefer the depressing stuff over the stupid stuff that passes for journalism.

Tell me, what are you doing right now? (And say something besides being on this forum!)

um finding books to read ... not that I don't already have a looooong list of stuff to read, but I can't help myself. There is so much that is interesting! I need 48 hours in a day!

Are there enough hours in a day?

right now .. can't see anything its dark :p

but tomorrow there will be some grass (somewhat dead in this heat) some trees and some houses over theeeere.

you?

The road, and the houses, and the (broken) tree in front. Down a little ways you can see the school yard; the other way you can see the shops. And, of course, everything is covered in glorious, glorious snow.

Which is your favourite? sea pig, sea cucumber, sea slug, or seaweed.
(I clearly left out sea horse on porpoise.)

now that is a remarkably random question LOL actually its kind of hard to choose sea pigs are cute, sea cucumbers and sea slugs come in wide and wonderful set of shapes and colours and seaweed is very useful, often pretty and good for you.

which would you rather explore - the ocean depths or space?

The ocean depths. There's so much of the ocean we haven't explored, and life we haven't discovered. It's thrilling to know you're still on Earth, but seeing a place where no one has ever seen before.
In comparison, space is vastly empty, and distance is measured in light-years of all things! The likelihood of finding life is minimal too... I just think that living things are so much more exciting to study than rocks in outer space.

Again!

neither but I will enjoy watching the results of other people's exploration.

Tidy your cupboards (closets) or tidy the garage?

Oh, sorry Meadow, I'm afraid I was not up to the mark on the thread rules.

OK ..... let's see .... what is your credit card number? ... JUST KIDDING .... God !!!!

Let's continue with YOUR question please ..... Tidy your cupboards (closets) or tidy the garage?

naah no worries people often forget :)

neither both sound like far too much work in this heat!

FYI my cc # is 11234get1t :p

why do sci-fi fantasy writers always depict planets with two or more moons as idyllic when the conflicting tidal pulls must create some insane effects?

:pwhy do sci-fi fantasy writers always depict planets with two or more moons as idyllic when the conflicting tidal pulls must create some insane effects?

Well... one also has to consider the relative distance of the moons, their orbits and the geographical features of the planet they're orbiting which could create all manner of conditions including peaceful. I think more than one moon is pretty and calming, perhaps sci-fi writers do too.

Do you like or hate smileys?
