Besides King, Dean Koontz, and Robert McCammon are good people to start off with.
Koontz puts out around 57 books a year so he has a lot to choose from but "Watchers" is a good one to start with.
McCammon "Swan Song", "The Wolf's Hour", "Boy's Life", and "Stinger" are all pretty good.
Yeah I'll watch it on Netflix just because it is a zombie movie but the only thing it has in common with the book is the title. I hate fast moving zombies.
Fire Keeper series by Jane Lindskold
If you liked Hobb's you may like those too. The last book or two aren't great but then neither were Hobb's ;).
The First Law series by Joe Abercrombie
Another dark fantasy series
The Red Wolf Conspiracy by Robert V. S. Redick
I've only read the first two...
You can tell it to put a song on the shelf which just means they won't play it for a month. I listen to it all night at work and will sometimes sit and tell it to shelf everything I've heard before just to get new stuff. Once you take some time and set up your favorites it works pretty well...
Since you liked the Farseer Trilogy read the rest of the books set in that world.
LiveShip Traders (my favorites)
The Tawny Man (picks up where Farseer left off)
The Rain Wild Chronicles (weakest of the group but I still like them)
They are all connected but separate
Novels | Robin Hobb...
I'd give book 5 the lowest rating. It was 800 pages of nothing happening to progress the story along. Book 4 was ok while 1-3 are the best fantasy books I've ever read.
Don't know if they are still doing it but walmart had the kindle fire for $200 and came with a $50 gift card making the fire $150.
I have a regular keyboard kindle and really like it. Have no use for a fire and hate touch screens.
They have a one month free trail for Prime. If you don't buy from amazon fairly often it really isn't worth it. The movies and books are a nice bonus but the movie selection is poor and you only get 1 book a month. The free 2 day shipping is the main reason to get it. I can usually find...

Long link but it shows all the books that...
When the book becomes available you get an email. To get the book you checkout through overdrive which takes you to an amazon.com page where you can download the book to your kindle. You can choose how long of a checkout period you want 7 to 21 days but as long as you don't let your kindle...
Just read the first book and thought it was ok and will read the other two. This series is about the only thing available on Amazon's new kindle lending library that look interesting.
