I'm 100 pages in and am finding it difficult to continue. If I have more than 300 more pages to read before it gets good, I think it might be time to bail.
Nature Girl was actually one of my least favorite Hiaasen novels. I'm not sure if it was due to a weaker story, or just the lack of compelling characters, but near the end I just wanted to get through it.
And Mich Stranahan may be my favorite character of his as well. Skin Tight was better...
Just finished Nature Girl. I've now read all of Hiaasen's fiction, and will have to patiently wait for more.
After reading all of them, I think my favorite is still Lucky You. It may be because it was the first Hiaasen I read, but it just seemed to have the best story, the best...

Double Whammy - Carl Hiaasen Carl Hiaasen is great as always.
Shogun - James Clavell Decent, but not as good as I expected or hoped for.
Speaker for the Dead - Orson Scott Card Even better than Ender's Game.
Fight Club - Chuck Palahniuk Better movie than book. Not a big fan of his style...
