being old myself i hope lucas stays active
i'm trying to remember just how old he is,but i can't recall any mentioning
i've always seen him as a front-edge boomer(now approaching 60),especially during whatever prey novel it was that he was picking out a top 100 songs for his new ipod as a...

it's being made into a movie, and some movie forums are arguing who should play the judge

read all the opinions positive and negative
i think it may be the best book i've ever read
i like mccarthy's language,i like the way he makes words up,turns nouns into adjectives and vice versa, makes you hit the dictionary
i'm just glad my library hadn't yet put an oprah sticker on it
try 'blood meridian'
many mccarthy fans consider it his best, tho i put it in second place behind 'the road'
i discovered him last sept and have read all his stuff except 'suttree',which i just got thru interlibray and will read this weekend
i think it was third grade
i know it was'the alexander graham bell story',probably gotten from the school library
a real page turner,i recall being caught and chastised by mom for reading under the covers with a flashlight and told i'd go blind
i became a reader for life
a couple of...
