How much reading time?

I usually read before going to bed and always for a train, plane or bus journey have a book with me. it's like abecedarian says, it also feels like I forgot my toothbrush or something if I don't bring a book with me when I'm going somewhere :)

It depends on the day/week for me. I have school so that's always a good time to read :) I also like to read during the evening and before I go to bed. It really depends on how good the book is, how many other books I plan on reading (and that's a never ending list), and how much time I have to just sit and read.

Still evening time here, lucky to get two or three hours in with our schedule. Can't wait until things calm down in february.

It really depends on how my day has been. I try to pick up my book everyday, I might not get to read for long periods of time every day but as long as I get sometime in I'm happy.

Not enough. Last weekend I spent 9 straight hours reading. Some days I get next to none. All that stupid personal stuff keeps getting in the way.

My god I would love to read for that long straight, I can't remember the last time I read for that long.

With bandpractice 3 days a week at 7-11 and schoolwork/home work before band practice and other days and the bmx that i do, i'm lucky to get an hour a day reading.

Replace idle activities with reading

I try to replace idle activities with reading. For example, watching TV. I've barely even had the TV on for the past few months; instead of watching, I read.

I also make it a point to try to do some reading before bed. Once it becomes a part of your daily routine, it sticks. Of course, sometimes you're just too tired from the day that you don't even want to think about reading a page.

Depending on the book, I can probably do about an hour. Sometimes I have done a few more hours more, but that's usually because I have to read it for a class or a book club.

On weeknights, not much. Half an hour if I'm lucky. However, if it's a very good book, then I find it easy to read for a long time. Weekends are a lot better for me though. :)

I always read before bed, anywhere from ten minutes to an hour or an hour and a half. I also usually take a bath before bed, where I get a chance to read as well. I also read at work, so I average a few hours of reading a day.

I lose all track of time when reading and I don't have much of a sense of time to begin with. I have no kids and am not likely to have any anytime soon. I watch little TV. So my free time is mostly reading, and being online (more reading really) and sleeping (I love to sleep and my dreams help my writing).

Well, now that school has started it's hard to read for pleasure, especially since I am learning a new language. I try to read about 30 minutes to 1 hour a night just for myself. During the summer I usually read 3-4 hours a day for myself.

working day - usually and hour or so at work (during lunch break) then maybe a few minutes while im on the shopfloor, as im surounded by books i browse and read while on the job lol. then when i get home maybe another hour, half hour when i get in and dinner is being made and another half an hour before bed.

days off - depends on what im doing or where iam, if im in all day then 4-6 hours but if im out maybe only half and hour or so...
