How Does Writing Make You Feel?

I read that Heinrich Heine heard the rustling of eagle's wings above him as he wrote, and sometimes I feel like I'm hearing that too. It's revising that makes me feel like I'm hitting my head against the screen.

I feel a sense of accomplishment, even though it is no doubt quite unjustified.

Writing...

Writing makes me feel involved. Writing makes me feel like I matter.
Writing makes me feel like I can actually do something with my hands.

Writing makes me feel intelligent.

Writing makes me feel like I am enabled.

Writing makes me feel all the positives about life, society and the universe are actually true; it makes me feel like they have actual substance. Writing makes me feel like it's the only thing secure against what people tell me.

Writing makes me feel a lot of things I couldn't feel otherwise because those methods and forms of stimulus are fake, dishonest, disingenuous and unreliable.

At the moment I should write instead of roaming websites and forums. Why don't I? I think it's because I am tired and the puts a hurdle up for me to be able to start the engine of creativity....or I am lazy.

While writing I feel great and a few times I obsess and keep on writing till I started typing gibberish. Sometimes the gibberish turns out great.

When everything's working, it's like magic. I'm literally in a different place---seeing the sights, smelling the smells, and listening over the shoulder of my characters as they speak. When it's not working...it's like trying to push a two-by-four through a meat grinder.

I like to write everything in Arabic or English and I' am always trying to improve this skill especially in English.
I feel when I write that I can translate my feelings in my own way and send the message immediately to the reader's mind.

^^You probably didn't have that in gym class.

Never did too well with the rope either---that's why my protagonist can do it...a literary compensation mechanism

I'm 6'4" and weigh 250 pounds...gravity has never been my friend  But when I'm writing (and calling the shots in that special world that exists between my ears), the possibilities are---shall we say...greatly enhanced

It's like reading, you go to places you never been or never will go,LOL

It makes me feel drained and vulnerable all the while accomplished and light-chested. Working on a fictional (fictional in most details, but taken solely from true events) story/novel right now taken from my past and my biggest obstacle is worrying how the people around me will think when they read it.
