The Matrix is one of them for me. I have seen over 32 times at least....and I'd love to see Shawshank Redemption again, but I'm so busy I barely have time.
Summary: Former veteran and baseball player,Patrick Ryan Shepard must trek through a Black plague infected Manhattan to find his daughter and wife, along with the help of his psychiatrist,Vergil.
My opinion: Well.....I have to say this is the best book I've ever read. This story makes you...
Plot: Victor Helios(Frankenstein)is now planning to rule the world. But how can he do that with all his creations falling a part? Well, with this the first part of Koontz's Frankenstein series has drawn to a close, and we'll see if it went out with a bang.
My opinion: Now some of this book is...
Hot Fuzz-This is a great movie. Great plot and characters, with a very great ending. I didn't find any of it funny though.
Rating:10/10
The Crazies(remake)- I haven't seen the original, but I thought this was one of the best horror films I have seen come out of the 2000's. The characters were...
I can't read the Scarecrow yet. It might spoil the Bosch series for me somewhere. Although I finished The Poet(and I've found out what The Narrows is about, and I cannot wait to read it!)
As you can see,me and my brother(The Butcher) have been chewing through these Harry Bosch novels for a while now. We both love them (except since he found the series first, I can't get ahead of him in it  ). Anyway on to the review!
Summary: Harry Bosch has to solve the high-profile case...
Prey is about nanomechanics gone beserk.
My opinion: The family was very well developed,it's just that the plot was moving at a very slow-pace. Like any Chrichton novel,it is heavily science-based(I've only read Jurassic Park). Got to page 132.
My rating: :stars2:
I'm 16 years old and I've been told I've been reading books meant for college students. So no,I'm not for banning books based on a persons age. It's just that Ellis is EXTREMELY violent and descriptive when it comes to books. And I've read Heartsick and Red Dragon(Two of the goriest novels I've...
I might understand if she assigned Stephen King or John Sanford, but Bret Easton Ellis?!
I've read half of American Psycho, and I can honestly say that Ellis is not appropriate even for high school teens.
The moment Harry Bosch is reissued his badge after a long suspension,he gets called to the murder scene of a Hollywood movie directer. Bosch travels through twists and turns and deceiving characters. While he is investigating the IAD show up to give Bosch hell.
My opinion: It was a good book...
Jack McEvoy is a crime reporter. He finds out that his twin brother, Sean McEvoy, is dead is found dead. The case is a suicide.....or is it? As McEvoy goes deeper into the investigation,he finds out that his brother did not die by his own hand. He was murdered. Now McEvoy is in a race with a...
It's awesome. I was really surprised at how the book was going,at very fast rates, and Bosch's sessions with the therapist was very interesting. I didn't think the series would have a book better than The Concrete Blonde, but I was wrong .
Harry Bosch is back, and boy does he have a lot to do. Harry Bosch is on leave for assaulting a higher-ranked officer. On that leave,Bosch decides to conduct a little investigation of his own: finding his mother's killer. Bosch doesn't realize what he's getting into, and soon he's playing with...
