The Great Gatsby? i read that for 10th grade english. i dont know what its about school assignments, but i generally don't want to re-read them. probably considering all the time thats spent discussing them
The little prince is grrreat. i've read it 2-3 times. i'll probably re-read it again...
right now i'm reading Fight Club and i can imagine myself wanting to re-read it. theres a bunch of Sarah Dessen books that i want to re-read.. i bought a copy of Sloppy Firsts and i'll re-read it before reading Second Helpings. of course every HP fan re-reads the books before the new one comes...
the only magazine i read is Rolling Stone. i bought a copy of AMP when i came across it in borders, but i don't like that i haven't heard of most of the bands.
i want to read Junky ever since i took out Queer. i'd like to read Junky before starting Queer.
i've thought about buying Naked Lunch or taking it out before, but i've been intimidated by it so far. one of these years i'll read it =P
i was interested in it when it came out, but not so much anymore. i dont like to learn about bands in that full detail. kind of ruins the music for me in a way.
i saw some of Girl, Interrupted today. its an awesome movie.. unfortunatly i have too much work to do today so i'll watch it when i catch it on TV another time
that always happens. there was actually a show on mtv that i liked a few years back that never made it to 2nd season. yeh, mtv never had much luck with sitcoms/some sort of fictional series.
i read an excerpt for the 3rd one for english when i was in 5th grade.. we watched a few of the movies as well. [older ones, obviously]
i hate that it seems to be a trend right now. i was just thinking about it today. now i see some of the trendy girls carry around the book [all 7 in one]...
High Fidelity by Nick Hornby had really short chapters. Fight Club has pretty short chapters as well.
i do prefer short chapters as opposed to long. long chapters tend to seem like they're just dragging on anyhow. it really depends tho - carrie had really 3-4 specfic chapters and it didnt...
i bought "Different Seasons". i look foward to reading it
so far i've only read Carrie, and loved it. i want to read the Green Mile and someday start the dark tower series
i read this one book for my book club in 7th grade. the actual shape of the book was pretty small and it was hardcover. it was probably less than 130 pages.
its about an indian girl who was poor, therefore she had to marry when she was 12 or 13 so her family would have one less mouth to feed...
i read this one book in 8th grade b/c my librarian recommended it to me, but i cannot remember the title for the life of me. its from the point of view of a teenage guy who has a retarded father. his parents were neighbors growing up until they got married and lived in the fathers childhood...
