Hey all,
I'm an avid reader and writer and I was wondering if maybe any of you knew of a magazine where I could submit it in maybe monthly contests or something? Just to get a little publicity. Or if maybe there's an online place where you pay per year/month and you can submit writing and...
My German shepherd never really interferes but sometimes he'll shove the book in my hands with his nose or lick it or something... couple of pages have been ink-smeared like that.
Good dog though.
Hey, when you get done with Mr. Murder can you let me know if it's anything like Stephen King's The Dark Half? Because after reading SOME of The Dark Half (I found it boring and could not finish it), I looked at Mr. Murder and they seem VERY similar.
I agree with it to an extent. I've never been one of those people to judge a book by it's cover. Although, I do judge it by it's title. Meaning, not necessarily that I'll buy it if it has a good title, but more than likely I'll read the summary, check out reviews, etc.
I'm not sure if many of your remember me or not but I used to post here pretty often.
Anyway, to my surprise, I saw that the Currently Reading and the I Just Finished Reading threads were closed. This disappoints me.
I know we have a Currently Reading option in our User Control Panel but...
Hi everyone!
Back again. I'm back into my reading frenzy.
I just finished "Intensity" by Dean Koontz. Definitely one of the best books I've read in a loooong time. I'm reading "Life Expectancy" right now and man, this guy is really impressing me. One of my all time favorite authors now.
Just finished "The Art of Raising a Puppy" by the Monks of New Skete.
Very good informative book, anybody who's even thinking about getting a puppy should read it. These guys know what they're talking about.
I'm a pretty avid writer. Not lately though, I've had some writer's block.
But I'm not bad... but I'm not great either. If you want to write, write. You shouldn't ask for anyones approval.
Good luck! :)
Well, I used to do that. I used to make myself finish a book... but now I don't. And lately, I've had some I guess... reader's block... but every since I started my new book, I've very interested.
Considering I got a German Shepherd a couple months ago. :)
