Does Divergent by Veronica get better?

It better be good, as I *just* purchased it from B&N. :)

    Stephen King: 11/22/63

I loved this when I read it last fall, but I feel as though I need to re-read it and REALLY take in all of the details. It was so good the first time, and I read it so fast in order to know what happened. I need to go back and do it all over again. This is definitely one of my favorite King...

Alice Sebold: The Lovely Bones *spoilers*

I'm not sure I was a big fan of the sex scene. It just seemed like a big reach.

    Stephen King: Dreamcatcher

I tried to read this book once. Emphasis on the tried. I didn't finish, and have zero desire to finish. It's evident that he wrote it while medicated. It shows. :)

    Need a new VAMPIRE book

Has anyone ever read The Vampire Diaries? I saw the preview for the show (which I won't watch), and was wondering if the books were decent.

    Culinary Mysteries

I've got one for you...go to Amazon and search for the Cooking Class Mysteries. I've read the first two and I really enjoyed them. Each book also features at least 3 recipes mentioned within the story. I hope you like them!

    Jeff Lindsay: Darkly Dreaming Dexter

I'm excited because I've only seen 2 episodes. Total. *lol* So I'm going into this completely blind. :)

    Scariest Book Ever?

Right!? How were those two stories even related? I agree with you 100%.

    New paperback book size?

I am not a fan of these new sizes. I'm a strictly paperback kind of girl (hate hardcover) and these just don't feel right in my hands. I will do extra searching on Amazon before I buy one of these weirdly shaped things from the grocery store or bookstore. The added wait is well worth it in my...

    Recently Purchased/Borrowed

It's a Puffin Classics edition, so I'm assuming that it will be more grown up than the Disney version. *lol* Or at least, I hope so.

    A Bestseller You Hated

Interview with the Vampire - I have tried to read this book a billion times and have yet to finish it once. Terrible. Too boring for me. I'm struggling through the complete works of Jane Austen. It's not looking good though. Also, the 2nd book in the LOTR series bored me to tears and I...

Alice Sebold: The Lovely Bones *spoilers*

I agree completely! I too was plagued with nightmares during the first part of the book. And I completely believe that it's because in my heart I know that things like this happen all the time. Which is sad, and heartbreaking.

    Charlaine Harris

My husband and I watch True Blood every Sunday. We're addicted! The *main* part of the show follows the book pretty well. They expand on some minor characters to give the storyline more depth, like Lafayette and Tara. I like that it doesn't follow exactly along with the books, because then I...

    Stephenie Meyer: Breaking Dawn

I don't think anti-climatic quite covers this book. I felt like it was such a let down. I mean, we're all geared up for this HUGE thing, and it never happens? Please. It wouldn't have ended that way, and everyone knows it. *lol*
