Started my second Val McDermid book - Report for Murder but I'm not as keen on this one.... not very far into it yet so I'll keep at it

I finished The Mermaids Singing the other day by Val McDermid. My first book by that author but definately not the last! Very impressed :)

It is indeed a holiday however my company is "365 days a year" blah blah blah..... At least they let us work 8am - 4pm instead of 10am - 6pm

I'm on the computer all day at work so that accounts for most of my time. As of last Thursday I've also lost some of my reading time; I used to read on the bus to & from work but I passed my driving test so now I'm driving everywhere!! :eek: :D

I'm reading my first McDermid book - The Mermaids Singing at the moment. 160 pages into it & I'm impressed so far :) I've got some of her books on my Amazon wish list & they do sound good

Yup, that's the one :) I like cereals best when there's some milk left after I've eaten them (ice cold only!) and then I drink the remaining milk straight out of the bowl!!! :o - Please note, I only do this when I'm at home, not when I'm out :D
