The Dark Tower series - please no spoliers

He rambles a lot, and there's a LOT of reading to be done which doesn't involve them getting any closer to their destination. However, King remains a great story teller. I'm usually disapointed with his endings (refering to his other works) but I still enjoy getting there.

    Time travel

Time travel usually hurts my head. The whole time I'm shouting "That's not how it would work! You've just ruined everything!" I think everyone has their own time travel theories.

Thanks again for taking the time to review it. It's tough to find people willing to review a book that's not from a major house. I appreciate it.

    can anyone offer any suggestions

Well if you like The Fountainhead you should definitely read Atlas Shrugged... but I'd give it a few months. I love Rand but I can't read more than 100 pages of her at a time.

    Eragon

Yeah, this is one I'm very anxious about starting. I've heard a lot of "It's Star Wars written by a 15 year old, with dragons." Eh, I'll probably end up reading it anyway.

Who is your fav fantasy character of all time?

Haha, and here I thought no one would appreciate my taste. "Come, we must press on against the tide of naughtiness. Mind your step."

    books similar to Dark Tower

What particular aspects did you enjoy? There aren't many other books like it in the genre - nothing I can think of anyway - but if you give me some specifics about what you liked it might help in finding more reading material. Of course, I'd recommend my book -...

Haha, definitely. Or an overexcited natgish'nigh'gili-ziniocus! Haha, don't worry, no weird funny names like that in the book.

The Sword of Truth - Terry Goodkind

Ah, that's a shame... perhaps I'll save myself a few weeks and skip the rest of it.

Hey everyone, my first book is finally published! My temporary website for the book (until I have some time to dedicate to the project) is *in my signature*. Quick blurb: The Elder Staves is sci-fi/fantasy adventure set in a world of magic and skyscrapers where technology and magic exist...

    Reading in May

Well I'm sure you know what book I'd suggest... Actually this month I'm gonna read The Pillars of The Earth (okay, so not fantasy, but I still love anything medival), and then force myself to finish the Dark Tower series regardless of the bad things I've heard about the last book.
