I don't know why but I keep getting hung up on Goblet of Fire and about half way through I just stop reading. I also seem to read slower when I am reading GoF and was wondering if anybody has any suggestion as to how I should go about reading the book and reading it quickly. I don't use any...
I am wondering if anybody knows a system that allows for people with iPods and Macs can easily download audiobooks, other than borrowing CDs from the public library. I would really like to download an audiobook for free. Thanks.

I received The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon and Whitethorn Woods by Maeve Binchy.
I was just wondering what people thought of sports biographies, books about a particular sporting event, etc. Personally I like them; allow me to get a break from the somewhat "heavy" novels that I tend to read. Would like to know what you guys think.
If I have stepped on somebody else's...
I was just wondering if anybody here has read any Canadian books, other than the ones by Lucy Maud Montgomery and Margaret Atwood; it can be fiction or non-fiction and what did you think of it? I'm just curious is all and would like to know what you guys thought of it.
Personally, I...
Does anybody have any idea when we might be voting for September's book of the month? I thought that we would have been voting by now as it is the 18th already out where I am and just thought that we would have been voting for September's book already.
I really like this show and I can hardly believe the way that they ended the first season and can't wait until they release the first season on DVD in August.
I bought In Cold Blood by Truman Capote today (found it at a bookstore I like to shop at) and was wondering how this book would be classified as. I have seen it as being classified as being True Crime. Is this correct?
Is there anybody who works in a library as either a librarian or a library assistant or as a library technician?
The reason I ask is that I graduated from a Library Technicians diploma program back in June and have been applying off and on (sometimes more off than on) for Library...
I don't know how it happened, but I managed to do a multiple post of a comment in the MP3 player thread in the Music section of the board. I managed to get one of them edited, but the other two I was unable to do anything to as the time had expired. Is there anyway of deleting the remaining...
I am having a real problem getting into one book right now. It doesn't matter what I am reading, I just can't seem to get into book and it really is bothering me. I love to read, don't get me wrong, but I just can't seem to concentrate on anything I am reading at the present time. I pick up...
