Originally it was going to simply be a trilogy, however I believe the writer released a comment saying that there was just more that needed telling in this world.
I think there will be at least more book released in the future as well.
I hope this thread is in the right place, if not I suppose I'll kindly ask a mod to move it elsewhere. I looked to see if there was a thread about this already, but didn't notice one.
I recently saw that the newest book in the Otori collection by Lian Hearn was out on bookshelves. I've read...
My "to read" list:
1. The Once and Future King, TH White
2. Through Wolf's Eyes, Jane Lindskold
3. The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
4. Angels and Demons, Dan Brown
Hmm..I can't remember the rest of them.
I would wish for more happiness and kindness in the world. It may sound obvious..but think of how many problems that could solve.
Probably my foot. I'm not really particular about which foot it is, but either one I suppose. I need my hands to write and read, and I don't want to go injuring...
I'm not very familliar with this city, I'll admit. I came here recently to live with my boyfriend, although I'm an american citizen and lived in Florida most of my life. It is very nice here, but the change in weather is a bit to get used to.
I'm very picky about my hardbacks. I'm always a little crazy when it comes to keeping them in good condition. For example, I'll buy a book in hardback and again in paperback to read so that the hardback won't be in any danger of the things that threaten every-day reading adventures (like coffee...
Ialways read the back of the book before I buy it. I'm a sucker for good titles and writers with good reputations, so I have to be careful. Usually if the back sounds interesting I flip the book open to a random page, read four sentences, flip again, and four more. If the style seems to catch my...
Your house looks so beautiful. I'm still quite a way from having my own home to play with. I'm currently living with my boyfriend here in Canada, but in the near future we're hoping for a Floridian apartment...that is if immigrations lawyers don't rob him blind.
I was pretty upset about this too. My family had been following his show on Animal Planet for quite a while and we all enjoyed watching it and following his life in the media. It's just a very tragic accident,..my heart really goes out to his wife, children, and friends.
Thank you both for the welcome.
Ice- Actually, I'm quite fond of Patricia McKillip. Her style of writing just draws me in and keeps me in her world while I'm reading. It's very lovely.
I'm one of those people that just can't have words if I want to remember what I'm reading/writing. Usually I put on some instrumentals for background noise. I can't stand it when the house is too quiet.
Hello everyone. I've recently decided to join this forum. I guess I'd better tell a bit about myself. I'm currently a student, studying interior decorating. Reading is a very big part of my day to day life and perhaps one of the things I enjoy most in my free time. I love reading new things and...
