    Reading the book, when you have seen the movie?

    NO ... lol i saw the movie gone with the wind first and then read the book, i liked them both very much:) i watched there will be blood recently, i didnt like it, but i suspect the book is much better - has anyone read it?also, in my opinion, the talented mr. ripley, that i saw before...

    i read the book as a little girl and i remember i found it irritating a bit then - now i cant really understand where flaubert failed us - are we asked that we like his heroine? i dont think so - literature can be written about naive, not very interesting characters too, they do exist in life...

    How do you guys read books? I need advice

    altho i dont read the same kind of books as you, i am an ocd sufferer and it affects my reading greatly - my problems do have to do with comprehension too, also with the printed word - which doesnt offer me anything really, constantly checking to see whether there are no mistakes on the page etc...

    could it be that the first book ur looking for is resurrection day by brendan dubois?written in 1999...:)
