Today I can officially say that I'm forty-something. You see today I celebrate my 41st birthday. I do not feel forty-one. I guess age is all mental. Heck, I feel twenty-one and not forty-one. Go figure.

So far I have received a $100 gift certificate to Barnes & Noble (every one knows I love books) and other things. I am a sucker for presents: Just like a kid.

That's nothing. Wait until you are 76. You won't feel a day over 41.

It's so bad that when I casually pass a mirror or a shop window, I catch a glance of a white-haired woman and find myself wondering: who is that woman who looks to much like my mother?
