my lameee virus scanner warranty ran out so it doesnt protect from spyware anymore. After ONE day i got a spyware virus that sometimes makes sites go somewhere else and its making bookandreader sometimes come up as a , what seems to be extreme fetish site :whistling: at first i was angry ....but now.....

Seriously though, run two or three good antispyware programs and see if that helps.

There used to be a time that you could edit your hosts file but I don't know if XP or Vista supports that.
 
Yea i got one off a site with tons of free downloads and got it off fast.it was annoying as hell though every site would go somewhere else.
 
Oh these annoying viruses are hard to "cure" once they infect the system.

I don't know if there is a way to delete all of them once they are in the system. Good antispywares may delete some of them, but I got this impression that there is always a rest that remains obscurely in the Windows.

Maybe the best thing to do would be to format the HD and reinstall the operational system plus a good antiviral program and stuff.
