Reading an earlier thread about book collections in terms of scale, I was wondering how many amongst us here collect rare/first editions/signed/collectible books?

I have two signed books. One of them is Amy Tan's Joy Luck Club, and I found this in an antiquarian bookshelf selling for $1.

YUP!!!! It's a wonder how many books you find for under $1 in second hand bookshops and the owners don't have an idea how valuable it really is.
