At last, an opportunity to bang on about books without anyone's eyes glazing over - possibly. The majority of my friends don't understand the obsession with the written word and it would be great to make some friends on here who do!

I've just discovered Kahil Gibran - 'The Prophet' - enjoy detective fiction, cookery books, humour, history, poetry, classics, Carl Jung, Dickens, Enid Blyton, JK Rowling, Chaucer, Shakespeare ... in fact, I'd read cornflake packets rather than not read anything at all.
