Interesting topic, like opera and physics, wine is something I wish I could begin to understand. Especially having landed a second job at a wine emporium...haven't started yet but joke to friend today was "Let's see it's red with meat and white with fish and Mad Dog goes with just about everything!"...that IS a joke...but really I have to get some basic knowledge.

I recently picked up two bottles of a buddy's 4 bottle allocation of Scarecrow "Monsieur Étain" 2011 Cabernet Sauvignon. I haven't decided whether to drink it or cellar it and flip it in a few years. Decisions, decisions.

White wine, at this moment I'm pretty fond of Chilean Sauvignon Blanc.
