Gator vs. Python

Who would win if an alligator took on a python? The results are in, it seems - it's a draw:

Be warned that the picture is a little gross to view. That's the reason I haven't included it in this post.

Just read that they were hoping the alligators would control the Burmese python population-turns out that they will both co-exist uneasily.

That was quite the photo. Although snakes don't bother me, I can't say I'd be interested in running across that thing in the swamp.

Wow, that snake is HUGE! We don't have snakes in NZ (nor alligators or crocs for that matter..), but even on the Croc Hunter I never saw a snake that big
