Hi all!
A little background - I took a job with a one hour commute one way almost two years ago. The drive takes me through a very scenic canyon and I drive a Jeep Wrangler. It didn't take more than a few trips for me to take the top off and buy an audiobook and a strong, black coffee. I realize audiobooks are not for everyone but I personally enjoy the experience. It may be the mountainous setting or it may be the open air or it may be the book that has me waiting for quitting time so I can get another hour in.
My reading list has run dry (or more accurately, my listening list has run dry). I'm here to not only find new material but to discuss and learn more about what I've finished.
I just came off Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead and am currently listening to Catch-22 as a change of pace and style. I enjoy books about history, philosophy, science, travel, and I hope to find out what else is out there.
Regards,
Shon
