Just wanted to introduce myself. Ive been looking for a good discussion forum for a long time & after lurking on several I decided on this place. I hope to be a productive contributor!
Its hard for me to pick favourite books! Authors are easier:
Dostoevsky,Hubert Selby Jr,Kerouac,JP Donleavy,Martin Amis,Iain Banks,Irvine Welsh,Flann O'Brien,Patrick McGrath,Rupert Thomson,Colin Wilson,Kafka,Will Self,Vonnegut,Charles Dickens,Charles Higson,Poppy Z Brite,John E Douglas,Mo Hayder,Anthony Burgess,Harold Schechter,Brian Masters,Robert Ressler, JD Salinger, Nabokov,Gogol,Turgenev,Donna Tartt,Patrick McCabe.
Im on a Dickens trip right now & am on my 4th in a row - The Pickwick Papers. Before that, I did Great Expectations, Bleak House, & David Copperfield.
Anyway, here I am.
