Latest music purchase

I bought this week Enya's new album "Amarantine". It's just... amazing... like all Enya's work! I'm just loving it all the way! :D

I'm not a huge listener of new-age type stuff, but I do have an older album by Enya called "A Day Without Rain"
Anyway, I already bought some new stuff since five days ago or whatever:
  1. Get Behind Me Satan -- The White Stripes
  2. The Phantom of the Opera (2004 soundtrack, I waited until it was 50% off)
  3. Anywhere But Home -- Evanescence (this I got as a belated Christmas present)
  4. Audioslave -- Out of Exile
  5. Elevator -- Hot Hot Heat

The library has re-ordered some CD's that I had requested and with a little luck they will arrive next week. I cannot describe how anxious I am to get the CD's.

The Buddy Holly Collection (A 2 CD set of this pioneer who died at a young age)
Legendary Songs Of Don McLean (is there anyone that does not enjoy American Pie):)

Obtained from the library late yesterday (sorry Kookamoor, too late) "The Legendary Songs Of Don McLean". Wow, what a great CD.

Let's see, in the past couple of months:

Nada Surf: Let Go
The New Pornographers: The Electric Version
My Morning Jacket: Z
Sun Kil Moon: Tiny Cities
Low: Long Division
Death Cab For Cutie: Plans

Peace. :)

Just received a つじあやの (ayano tsuji) CD in the mail today. She plays ukelele (because her hands are apparently too small for guitar) and can really sing (unlike some other JPOP acts). Nice songs, good mood. Fun stuff. But unfortunately the price comes with a nice tariff.

Here's what I got in January (actually, it was all bought at once  )
Art Ensemble of Chicago - Nice Guys
Anthony Braxton - Saxophone Improvisation Series F
Evan Parker Electro-Acoustic Ensemble - Drawn Inward
Förträngt Hushållsarbete - Offret om att Älska
Curtis Fuller - New Trombone
Benny Golson - Groovin' With Golson
Frank Rossolino - Free For All
Bud Powell - The Amazing B.P. Vol.2
Albert Ayler - The Copenhagen Tapes

Surprised to see Jose Gonzales mentioned - I had the impression that no one cared/knew about him outside of Scandinavia (can't say I'm a fan, but my sister is very fond of his album)

The Bonnie Tyler Anthology / Bonnie Tyler
Face to Face / Westlife
The Number One Classic Album / Various
Sing the Songs of Jose Groban / Jose Groban
Pure / Hayley Westenra

I didn't know they had a DVD out. Gonna have to check into it.

I hadn't bought a CD in a while until I got "Deadwing" by Porcupine Tree.

In the past week or so I've brought:

Taking Back Sunday - Louder Now
