futari de iyou hanarete shimawanu you ni
nukeru you na aosora de chiizu pizza tabeyou

trans:
Let's be, just the two of us, and never split apart
Let's eat cheese pizza under a perfect blue sky
A couple like melted cheese who know nothing of love
While walking in the street, unknowingly laughing

This is a well-known song by a popular rock band (one of my favorites), so it shouldn't be too hard despite not being in English. And you can find it on google if your stumped (I checked :p )
Cheesehead....and it has been recorded by various artists/ groups.

I have no idea where you got that from. The only band I can find via Google is 'Judy and Mary' and they're from Japan, I think. Something to do with anime.

WoundedThorns - can you give us the answer you're looking for here?

Well, the song had cheese in it so I took a wild guess. :D

Yes, it is time to post the song and person / group that sang it so we can move on other lyrics and songs.

No.

The song is called 'Cheese Pizza', by the band Judy and Mary. Its a fan favorite, and has only been recorded by them. Its from their album 'Orange Sunshine', and was featured on their best-request compilation 'The Great Escape'

See Kookamoor, you were laughing at my guess and I was close. :p

I guess it is your go, kookamoor, as you were the closest by naming the group, Judy and Mary.

Yeah, but I cheated and Googled it.
Forgiven THIS TIME. :)
Please post some lyrics. BTW, it is OK to google to find the lyrics but it is frowned upon to find the song and the person singing it.
:)

I agree. I only searched because I figured we were at a stalemate and I actually thought you'd found the right answer! I was seriously questioning my Googling 'skills'! :p

Okay, here's your next one. I think it's a good one.

"My life seems unreal,
My crime an illusion,
A scene badly written
In which I must play.
Yet I know as I gaze
At my young love beside me,
The morning is just a few hours away."

I'll accept one of two answers for the song title. Bonus points if you get both!!

Good lyrics to a good song. If no one gets it by tomorrow I will post the song.

Could it be:

Somewhere They Can't Find Me by Simon & Garfunckel
Indeed it is! But that's not the well known title!! I thought you would guess the better known one.

This song was originally released as Wednesday Morning, 3AM on the album of the same name (1964). On the next album, 'Sounds of Silence' (1966), Somewhere They Can't Find Me was released. It uses the same lyrics with a new 'hook' chorus and turns a lovely ballad from the first album into a rocking groove where the protagonist is no longer a man in turmoil over leaving his girlfriend, but comes across as a fellon on the run. It's really neat! (I am a HUGE Simon and Garfunkel fan, by the way :)).

Your turn!

OK, lets start getting in the Christmas spirit with some Christmas lyrics:

Oh the weather outside is frightful
And the fire is so delightful
And since there is no place to go

Almost everyone has recorded this song so any of the names will do.:)

Let it Snow!
Great song recorded by everybody and their favorite gerbil..but how about The Noel Friedline Quartet?? or Garth Brooks, or George Strait, or the Carpenters, or...

Bonus points to anyone who knows about The Noel Friedline Quartet (I just threw food to his mom's cat yesterday)

Or...or...Nat King Cole or Dean Martin. :)

You are correct ABC with "Let It Snow" and it is your turn. Do you know any other Christmas songs. :)

But before you go, who in the world is The Noel Friedline Quartet:confused:

I do have another Christmas song..

Did my sister get her baby doll? Did my brother get his bike?
Did I get that red wagon, the kind that makes you fly?
Oh, I hope there'll be peace on earth
I know there's good will toward men
On account of that Baby born in Bethlehem

The Noel Friedline Quartet used to play in Las Vegas at some huge casino..starts with a 'P'..can't think how to spell it..anyway, they were a jazz group, and were favorites of Julia Roberts. When her hubby wanted to suprise her for her birthday a few years ago, he flew the whole group and their spouses to New York to play at her party. Anyway, Noel grew up less than a half-mile away from me. His parents attend my church and are wonderful people. Noel and company have a few cds, including a Christmas album and one with sacred jazz.

How 'bout this one:

You can live in this illusion
You can choose to believe
You keep looking but you can't find the woods
While you're hiding in the trees
What if everything around you
Isn't quite as it seems?
What if the world you used to know
Is an elaborate dream?
