New Years Resolutions!

Cathy C said:
No need for me to resolve THAT! :D I earned $13K last year and $90K this year at that particular pursuit. ;) It's the setting aside a chunk of it for the taxes that's the PITA! :eek:

My resolution is to make more money at this writing game! Need to get a regular paycheck, not just sporatic ones!
WOW! What do you play? Jeez. I could use some of that. I won some small money at craps the other night, and I think they could change the name of the game to CRACK.

I don't make resolutions, but I want to read MORE and eat better. I'm a food-a-holic. If I didn't work out and watch what I eat, I'd be the size of a house. Luckily I do both, but I do a better job of the first.

Electronic Keno. Don't ask how I do it -- I just seem to be able to predict the numbers. I've tried to teach other people, but it just doesn't seem to stick. :eek: I can't wait until I can get back to a casino. I moved to an "anti-gambling" state, and I'm going through withdrawal... ;)

My state allows gambling on the water and on Indian reservations. So many people are outraged, but i don't have a problem with it. I do know people that have lost all their money though.

Stop excessive drinking - attempt teetotalism until birthday;
Stop frittering away money on impulse buys;
Accept vegetables;
Get a new job;
Learn to cook;
Join a gym.

These are my resolutions.

get Spielberg to option my novel :D (actually, I used to work with his mother-in-law, but I don't know if that would help or hinder)

I make resolutions every year but I never really stick to them...
anyway...my resolutions this year is are..
1. read more books
2. watch more movies.
3. save money((no more wasting of money))
4. study hard

My only Resolution this year - try not to break this year's New Years Resolution.

Cheers

You picked some very complimentary goals, Cindy! It sounds a lot like you need to spend more time at the library! Free books, free movies (so no money spent) and a setting condusive to studying! ;) :)

Not really. I dont like to read books and watch movies in the library.
I'd rather buy or borrow them from my friends and sometimes we'd watch together.
so that's why I've to save money. buying books and vcds is very luxurious.
((and I spend most of my money on food!! I really have to stop it! :p))

:D Someone who can cook would definately be good - we tend to live on take aways (when we can afford it) or microwaved meals :rolleyes:

Sorry I can't help though - the entire loan just about covered the bill (and a car repair :( )

resolutions

Starting to learn German again, reading more , driving more often cause my car will forget me.......and going to the gym I guess, my every year resolution.

Hey, I can cook!! Today for instance, I will be whipping up some Heinz Tomato Soup, with a side of bread and maybe some milk :D I plan to follow that up with a handful of bourbons and a pack of After Eights.

See hun, you've got nothing to worry about ;)
