I love library book sales!
Last Friday, I picked up a few for a $1 each. Then on Sunday, it was half off day, I picked up a butt-load for 50 cents.

Joyce Carol Oates:

Broke Heart Blues
Faithless
Man Crazy
Tales of Mystery & Suspense: The Female of the Species
What I Lived For
Stephen King:
Gerald's Game
Blaze
(as Richard Bachman)
From a Buick 8
Christine
Duma Key
Tabitha King:
One on One
Survivor
Mark Z. Danielewski: Only Revolutions
Jacqueline Susann: Shadow of the Dolls (I still need to read Valley)
Salman Rushdie: Fury
Gary Fishgall: Gregory Peck (biography for my mom)
Nigel Hamilton: JFK Reckless Youth (bio for my mom)

That looks like a nice shopping spree @ the clearance sales for sure. Very envious!
This is only my second time attending a library book sale. My first one was Fall 2009. It's quite fun and there are some great finds! I mean, a lot of the books have been donated and most are actual library books (with the glossy cover, the call number, and the checkout card inside), but yeah, definitely great deals. I'm so happy. I bought things that I knew I'd love (or that someone would love). I'm a big King fan, so I just started picking up all the King books I didn't own.

Michael Connelly's The Reversal is out today so I hope I can get it at the library.

I checked out The Scarecrow by Connelly and Monkey's Raincoat by Robert Crais.

The Grand Design - Steven Hawking and Leonard Mlodinow.

Explains it ALL. ALL, I tell you, ALL! :)

Conspirators by Michael André Bernstein
Close to Home by Peter Robinson
A Rule Against Murder by Louise Penny

A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens
David Copperfield by Charles Dickens
A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens

Always Jack - by Susanne Gervay

I recently read the new book [Always Jack] by Susanne Gervay. It has been given the stamp of approval from one of Australia’s most influential bodies – the Cancer Council. It’s a rare endorsement from the organisation, commending the novel for its exploration of cancer and its impact on families. Worth a read!
