I can't wait to read this one, but I need to finish Priam's Daughter before I begin something new. ;)

Therapy by Sebastian Fitzek
The Queen's Lover by Vanora Bennett
The Private World of Georgette Heyer by Jane Aiken Hodge
Cotillion by Georgette Heyer

Didn't you recently read Severin's Viking series, which starts with Odin's Child? I think I read that one myself. Mr.Abc and I both enjoyed his Brendan Voyage. Time to investigate further; Corsair looks promising. Do tell!

I read the 2nd in the trilogy 'Sworn Enemy' last year and enjoyed it,tho' it's not really the standard 'viking' story, but the hero is well-travelled in both land and life! Just The King's Man left to read before I start Corsair.

library: Angels Of Destruction by Keith Donohue
charity: Born To Run by Michael Morpurgo

^^ Hey I got a Roberto Bolano book today too. :whistling:

And I finally found a Siri Hustvedt book.

We Have Always Lived in the Castle - Shirley Jackson
What I Loved - Siri Hustvedt
Amulet - Roberto Bolano

There were a bunch of Bolano's on the shelf. To hold down the number of books in our basket -- already too many -- I skipped Amulet. We were only on the B's with all the rest of the alphabet to do. Eventually escaped with only one full basket.

I'll be interested in hearing your reaction to the Hustvedt book.
I've never been able to get into Bolano...I read about 2/3rds or so of 2666 and just couldn't finish.

I read the Jackson only last year and loved it. Happy reading! :D
