I was just wondering if anyone here used Writing.com? If so whats in your portfolio?

I posted this in the writer block section a while back, but I think it would fit fine here.

Does anyone use the site Writing.com? If so whats the name on your Portfoilio? Mine is Sapper41.

It is however, pointless to post the same thing twice in a forum as you are effectively starting two different threads which go their own direction - the salient points, if any, would be mixed between the two threads rather than collected in the one, and anybody searching the forum later for anything on this topic may find one of the threads while the ther may be the more beneficial.

Well Killer, I only got one reply in the other section, and yes it might be because no one cares for the Thread topic, but I think it might be that not alot of people scan the writer's block thread.

Now back to the topic of this thread, anyone use writing.com?

Abulafia is right, so I'll merge these two threads.

And they (it) do belong in the Writer's Block Forum.

Feel free to continue talking about it, though.

Cheers

I have been a member for a couple of years although I've visited approximately twice in that time. The only site I've found thus far to get good critique on one's writing is the Critique Forum on FictionAddiction.

I quite enjoy http://www.authorsden.com

It's very clever with a lot of features. Over the years I've subscribed to many things but this is one I keep coming back to. Sort of using it for an online library of poems and stuff.

They've got an integrated bookstore now for contributors but it's a very busy site and to get noticed one has to work very hard.

For any author who doesn't have their own website, it is a very good solution though. Incredible amount of tools like mailing lists and trackers, all sorts.

You get a little home page too, mine is

That web site sounds really interesting. Thanks!

BTW, alistair crowley? "Do what thou will shall be the whole of the law" :)

He was kicked out of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and was kicked out of Italy, they called him The Beast, so... he is a dude
