5. The Simpsons

Family Guy is only one of the most hillarious shows ever made.

i would tell you to buy one of the DVD sets, but they're $40 each (American).

i bought the last season on ebay for $25 YAY ebay

Current TV (as I could go on for a bit with classics)

The Shield
Smallville
Six feet under
Lots of films
Quite a few of the BBC's 2/3 part dramas/documentaries

Does it need to be said that my TV watching's dwindled over the last few years?

Most of these aren't on TV anymore but mine would be in no order either:

1 Quantum Leap
2 Twin Peaks
3 Red Dwarf
4 Nevermind the Buzzcocks
5 Star Trek TNG
6 Northern Exposure
7 Eerie Indiana
8 QI
9 The Mary Whitehouse Experience
10 Blackadder 2 - 4

Like many of you said I don't watch much TV anymore. Mainly the odd film or QI, Buzzcocks type quiz shows and the odd documentary like Dan Cruickshanks recent Around the World in 80 Treasures.

Arrested Development
Curb Your Enthusiasm
Monk
The Daily Show w. Jon Stewart

I was quite entertained by that last Doctor Who season as well, despite my inner hater constantly complaining.

This list sucks for me though, because not a single one of these shows have been imported to Norway. Argh! Yet we do get all the other big American TV shows.
You'd think we'd at least get CYE, considering we've had all the other Seinfeld-related sitcoms, which have all been awful, but nosirree.
On the plus side, I never have to watch TV, since there's never anything I care about, aside from the occasional jazz concert or movie.

South Park
Married With Children
Seinfeld
Reno 911
The Daily Show
Mad TV
Stella (so dumb, not that funny, but I still like it)
MTV's True LIfe
MTV's Made
WB11's Batman

in no particular order.....

-twin peaks
-northern exposure
-seinfeld
-everybody loves raymond
-quantum leap
-friends
-csi: las vegas
-x-files
-dawson's creek (gag, i know..but shameless, mindless tv)
-ellen degeneres

Yikes two Seinfeld lovers in a row. I just couldn't stand that show, but I'm the only person I know who felt that way. I was glad to read this thread and see that many of the british folks here felt the same way. I don't know if I'll come up with 10, but I'll give it a shot:

-Family Guy
-Futurama
-Queer As Folk
-Dead Like Me
-The L Word
-Six Feet Under
-The Sopranos
-MASH
-Northern Exposure
-CSI (Vegas or Miami)

The last few are kindof a stretch, but at least I managed to make 10.

Current...

1 Law & Order (any or all)
2 Outback House (this week season final)
3 Spicks and Specks
4 ER

I watch pathetically little TV. After this week, only Spicks and Specks will be showing new episodes.

He who likes The Crime and Investigation channel watches TV every night, all night before bed and I generally read.

(No particular order because that would be way too tough to sort out)

*Crossing Jordan
*Cold Case
*American Justice
*CSI Miami
*CSI New York
*Law & Order
*NYPD Blue
*7th Heaven
*American Idol
*ER

I've just realised that I forgot to include Spaced in my list so I'm adding it on now. When I was typing it up I was thinking what TVseries do you own on DVD and I knew there was another. Can't believe I forgot the almighty Spaced though.

Using programs from the past I see. I was wondering how people would answer that question.

Mash
All in the Family
Chico and the Man (until Freddy Prinze offed himself)
Star Trek (Original or TNG)
The Mary Tyler Moore Show
CSI Las Vegas
The X- Files
The Cosby Show
I Love Lucy
The Twilight Zone
Home Improvement
Bonanza
