goatgoatgoat and I are BFF.

I "la la la" and "doo doo doo" a lot when singing along to songs.

i really dont take to long to memorize a song just the first time or more i really should fix that habit since im in the chior. i should learn the song then sing it:D:D:D:D:D

My pet peeve regarding this forum: starting new threads without first checking if there is already one on that topic.

Ill admit i have started threads when there is already one on the topic. But sometimes i just forget to look and see if someone already posted on the topic. Sorry!!!!! :(

I don't like it when people get too close when I am eating. I feel like they are breathing on my food. phones going off when I am trying to read or study. Cellphones going off during lectures, and people who have the audacity to answer the phone during the lecture. Step out if it's an emergency.
By the way it's impossible to check every thread before you post. Specially with us newbies. Please be patient with us.

It's not impossible.
If you want to start a discussion on Jane Eyre, do a simple thread search for "Jane Eyre" and see what comes up. If nothing does, then you're good to go. It's not hard to do that with every thread you create unless you plan on creating 20 at a time.

A close freind knowing you are a book monger and calling you up and saying "My neighbor was throwing away boxes of old books and I kept one for you that looked interesting" and the title you ask?Astrology and palmistry

 What a burn.

I don't look at her the same way...:lol: just kidding, it's just gonna take a while for me to get over it, and those poor books lying in the garbage (pretend there is a crying smiley here)

Ugh, I don't even want to think about it. That reminds me of when I used to work for a bookstore (it is a chain so I won't say the name here) and they just rip the covers off of romance/mystery novels that aren't selling. They aren't my favorite genre, but I just hate to see a good book go to waste like that!

- land line telephones ringing
- people who come into my store in a hurry; scrapbooking store not a grocery store!
- people who think because they are the customer, they are always right
- my two year old son when he whines incessantly
- trying to have a conversation in the car when the radio is on; turn that noise off!
- that nasty swallowing sound my mom makes when her ears and sinuses bug her

...wow I could go on, but thinking about this stuff with my level of sleep deprivation is kind of making me irritable! LOL!

-- When girls talk about other guys to me, especially when I'm attracted to said girl.
-- People who think writing is easy
-- People who say they can do something but in reality they can't
-- Bigots
-- Rednecks
-- My ignorant neighbors who are annoying as heck knows what
-- People who walk through another door when you hold a door open for them
-- Idiots
